We are a
fast growing and well founded startup in the SaaS B2B space. We are an
experienced team and serial founders with previous successes. We manage to sell
founder-led, and the customers are happy.
Marketing
has however not been prioritized, and it is time to change that. We have strong
experience in B2C marketing, and a large network to discuss with, but B2B
marketing is different and we need someone to help here.
At the moment, it is important both to get things
done and be proactive with testing new channels/strategies. Going forward, it
is possible to take a more classical CMO role.
About the Role
You will
work with positioning, narrative, and go-to-market strategy, while also driving
hands-on execution across the full marketing funnel.
You'll
work closely with the founders and sales to turn a complex, technically strong
product into a clear and compelling story that attracts the right customers. In
the early phase, this means building and testing fast: webpages, content,
distribution, SEO, partnerships, and thought leadership. Over time, the role
naturally evolves into leading a broader marketing function as the company
scales.
This role is for someone who thrives in a
fast-paced environment, moves comfortably between strategy and execution, and
wants to build something from the ground up. You would both work with what
interested customers will find researching us, and getting them interested in
the first place.
Key Responsibilities
You will
be shaping Odins' positioning and driving qualified leads. In the early stages,
the role is execution-heavy and focused on establishing the core marketing
functions, including tasks like:
Webpages - Complete new ones needed as soon as possible
Content creating - We have an advanced but commercially interesting product, and it is possible to create lots of interesting content but hard to make it snappy and understandable
Content distribution - Get the content read on webpages, LinkedIn, commentaries and more
Positioning - We have clear thoughts here, but not clearly articulated yet
SEO and AEO/GEO - We think this will be important, have strong experience here but have not had time to prioritize yet. Both technical work and outreach
Speaking opportunities - The founders should talk on conferences, podcasts and similar. Find, contact and arrange these, probably partly with AI tools
Paid advertising - Google/LinkedIn
External validation - G2, Gartner and similar
PR - Find cases and get them out there, both with customers and company news
Newsletters and nurturing
HubSpot - Responsible for marketing part of HubSpot
Events - Produce webinars and breakfast conferences
Prospecting - Create prospect lists together with sales
And more...
