Head of Brand
Frist: 04.10.2026
Do you want to lead the creative brand and campaign development for Tom Wood?
Tom Wood is in an ambitious phase of international growth. To ensure the brand develops with the same quality and clarity across all our markets, we are now building a new leadership structure within the brand team.
We are looking for a Head of Brand who will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our brand across creative campaigns and commercial output. This is a key role between strategy and execution. You will be responsible for translating our brand strategy into a consistent, well-executed and uncompromising brand experience across all our campaigns, channels, markets and teams.
You will report to the CMO and work closely with the Creative Director and the Head of PR & Partnerships. You will have people management responsibility for a strong internal brand team of 8, with a clear mandate to develop them both professionally and as leaders in their own right, covering the creative output as well as how the team functions and grows. You will become central to how we set the standard for how Tom Wood looks, feels and communicates internationally across our campaigns and market activations.
You will, among other things
have people management responsibility for and develop Tom Wood’s skilled and solid Brand team, including day-to-day follow-up, competence development and leadership of eight employees
set direction and ensure a high creative quality across the team’s work and all touchpoints
own the campaign architecture, from overarching brand narrative to international rollout
ensure our market activations align closely with our brand platform and design philosophy, adapting the approach across priority markets such as Japan, Scandinavia and the UK/US
lead and develop external creative agencies and production partners
hold budget and P&L responsibility for the brand team’s campaigns and productions, in close dialogue with the CMO
ensure that brand building and our commercial objectives are closely aligned, with active use of data and insight to guide decisions, and a long-term perspective on how the brand and the team develop
A rare opportunity to lead brand development at one of Scandinavia's most acclaimed design houses.
We believe you are
A highly experienced creative leader or senior designer/AD with strong aesthetic judgement and high execution capability. You have experience working in or with international brands or in a leading creative environment, and are used to working with very high visual and design standards and ambitions. You have documented experience with people management, not only leadership of creative processes, and can point to concrete results from building, developing and following up people within an organisation. You thrive at the intersection of creativity, leadership and business, and you’re comfortable challenging others, giving clear feedback, and raising the quality bar across the organisation.
You create structure without limiting creativity, and you’re able to bring people together and build commitment to a high level of ambition, setting a shared direction for the creative work. Alongside your creative and execution strength, you have a solid strategic grounding — you understand market and consumer insight, and you think long-term about both brand and team development, even as your day-to-day focus is on quality, craft and delivery. We’re looking for an international attitude and a solid strategic and creative professional profile with a strong visual eye, who is comfortable using data and insight to inform creative and commercial decisions.
We’d like you to have
A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in brand, design or visual creative leadership, including several years in a people management role
Experience from luxury, premium fashion, sport, design or other international brands
Experience managing and developing form-driven/aesthetic brands together with other strong contributors
Documented experience with people management and results from building and developing teams, not only creative leadership of projects
A solid understanding of campaigns, content development, market/consumer insight and commercial brand building
Excellent written and spoken English
Our promise
This is a rare opportunity to shape the creative development of a Norwegian design house with global relevance and significant international reach. You will have a clear mandate, considerable influence, and the opportunity to set the standard for how Tom Wood develops as an international brand going forward.
